MetaMask equips you with everything you need to manage your digital assets on your own wallet. Note, your MetaMask wallet can be synced across your Mobile device and Web Browser. At the moment, AstraBit only supports connections with the Desktop version of MetaMask. Mobile device support is not yet supported, but is coming in the next release.

Supported Devices?
The MetaMask wallet is available as a browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) and as a mobile app on Apple iOS and Android.
In this tutorial, we will be using Google Chrome to install and set up metamask.
Note, the steps to install in Firefox or another browser will be very similar. Many of these steps will apply directly to all common browsers across any operating system.
MetaMask Docs and Resources are located here: https://docs.metamask.io/guide/.
Following completion of this guide, you will have created a MetaMask wallet. Note, by default MetaMask will add you to the Ethereum blockchain. Given our initial staking strategies are built-off the CRONOS and Binance networks we will need to add our wallet to the such blockchains, covered later.
Step 1. Navigate to metamask.io.
Step 2. Ensure Chrome is selected, then click the “Install MetaMask for Chrome” button.
Step 3. Click the “Add to Chrome” button.
Step 4. Once the extension is installed, click the “Get Started” button.
Step 5. Click the “No Thanks” (this is the most common response).
Step 6. Click the “Create a wallet” button.
Step 7. Create a secure password for your Metamask account.
Step 8. Click the “Next” button to continue.
Step 9. Click the box to reveal your secret words.
These secret words are used to restore your account. Should you ever need to install metamask on another device, you will need them to do that. Anyone can use these words to access and control your wallet, so it is critical that you keep these words secret and never lose them. You should write them down and secure them in some way for later use, as you will likely need them again.
Step 10. Click the “Next” button.
Step 11. Enter your secret words in the correct order, select the “Confirm” button when complete.
Step 12. Click the “All Done” button to be taken to your wallet.
Step 13. You should see your new wallet with 0 ETH. Wallet setup complete.
As highlighted, MetaMask by default will add you to the Ethereum Mainnet Blockchain (ERC20). Therefore we simply need to add desired network (CRONOS network or Binance Smart Chain) to our list of networks MetaMask can operate on.
